This young lady has taken the world by storm.
Just last week we were celebrating her achievements under extreme pressure.
Now old rules banning marijuana are being used as an impediment to her progress. Her judgement is being debated across the internet and television.
For the record, I/WE support her EXCELLENCE & her ACCOUNTABILITY!
She broke these antiquated rules, didn’t lie about it, and accepted her “one month suspension.”
I hope this penance satisfies the finger wavers.
Now It’s time for new inclusive rules to support this generation of leaders & athletes.
From the NFL (Colin Kapernick) to Tennis (Naomi Osaka), the NBA (LeBron), and now back to Track & Field, we lift these athletes up and tear them down constantly for rules/reasons that no longer make sense in 2021.
Also spotlighting our athletes with disabilities and our LGBTQ 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ youth 💪🏿🏃🏽♀️👨🏿🦽🤼♀️🏋🏾♀️🧘🏽♀️
The world has changed and societal rules/norms must always adapt, elevate, and change with it.
